The Stapled Clog Collection by Dansko proudly carries the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association. The Stapled clog outsoles are designed to be suitable in everyday work where there are excesses of vegetable oils and animal fats. Slip resistance tests have been conducted by STARA, the world's leading research and technology organization for the shoe industry.
The Stapled Clog outsoles were tested for slip resistance against the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F1677-96 standard using the Mark II machine. The shoes were tested on dry, wet, oily, and oily-wet surface conditions using red quarry tile.

There is just nothing quite like a Dansko. These are great because they come off as dressy enough to wear them to work in the office, but I could literally hike in them for hours - they are so comfortable. I have fairly large feet too, and they are extremely flattering on.

I have custom made orthotics that I could not seem to fit in any shoe, but they fit in these. I am 17, so it had to be something young and comfortable. I wear a 36 and they look great. I have the brown as I had to for my school uniform, and they are dressy enough to pass as dress shoes. A great find as they look young, fit really thick orthotics, are a pretty good price, and have a slightly feminine flair.

I just bought my second pair of Marcelle's. My first was a white pair to get me through nursing school, and now I've just bought a nice Latigo Brown pair to celebrate my license and the fact I can wear any color of shoe that I want!! I like the Marcelle because I have big feet (41!) but I don't feel huge when I'm wearing my Marcelle's. They provide great support and when I get done with a 12 hour shift, I don't feel it in my back or feet. Plus, the Mary Jane style is nice and I can totally wear these shoes with my normal street clothes too. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone.

I own many of the professional clogs and love them. I have tried ALL of the other styles Dansko makes, but could not wear them because they don't have that comfortable back heel like the professional clogs. Most have a smaller heel and the edge of the heel always digs into my ankle bones, but these don't. I LOVE the mary jane Marcelle style because they have the same heel as the professional and they are so cute. A little more feminine than the clog. I wear a size 40 have a fairly large feet but these really do flatter the foot. I would say the Professional and the Marcelle are Danskos two best styles. I have the black in these and now I am going to buy the brown.

I have had a pair of these shoes for barely 2 years and with light wear (2-3 times a week to the office), the side stitching holding the leather together has come completely undone on both sides of each shoe! I love Dansko shoes since they are so comfy and wear a long time, but there is obviously a design flaw with the stitching somewhere which is not covered by the 45-day return policy here on this website. Has anyone else run into this problem with their Marcelle's? For the $114 I spent on these shoes, I should not be having problems like this...
