We have just bought a second pair of these boots for the orginal ones (2 year old) is starting to wear out. We bought the orginal boots as a christmas present for my daughter and she just loves them, wearing them from Nov. through March. She gets compliments whereever she goes and loves that there is not right or left and she can just step into them. The boots liners originally came with a plastic bag like cover which would have made the boots waterproof, however the boots made a annoying swishing sounds when you walk. We cut this overlayer off and she has had not problems with them leaking and her feet have never gotten wet.
