Oppedisano's Bootery
Welcome to Oppedisano's, where our store and our service is like stepping back in time, except we're also online. Who are "we" you may ask? We're Korey and Esther Buzzell, partners in life and owners of Oppedisano's Bootery. You may be wondering, where did the name Oppedisano come from? If you're familiar with Italian surnames then maybe it's not so strange. It's a very old and not so common Italian name that literally translated means healthy foot, ped for foot and sano for healthy. It also happens to be the Surnames of the family that operated this business for three generations. Our goal is to live up to that name, to make your feet as healthy as possible. To accomplish this we sell only the highest quality boots, shoes, sandals, and clogs for men and women. From dress to casual, special orthotics to walking in the park, or just playing in the backyard, we aspire to have all the footwear solutions for you. For our most discriminating customers who need the right solutions we have over 100 years of combined experience to offer. Being in business for over eighty years, and being a family tradition, the customer service aspect of Oppedisano's has changed very little over time. With our online presence we merely strive to extend this quality of service.

 Pasquale (Patsy) Guggino, recently departed to our great dismay, was loved by all. This page will stand as a dedication to him for a long time to come. He passed at ninety years of age and was in the truest sense of the words, an old fashioned Italian gentleman and he really did bring a refreshing meaning to the word gentleman. He was a specialist in his trade. Originally as an old-fashioned cobbler, he made shoes, boots, lifts, supports and arches. He learned the lost art in his teen years upon immigration here in the spring of 1932.
Patsy as we all knew him had been a big part of our store for 25 years, and as you can imagine, was a very integral part of the tradition. He was our orthopedic specialist and shoe repairman, and absoultely loved helping happy customers get "back on their feet". We could never say enough about his big heart and his wonderful outlook on life. Pat is pictured here with his lovely wife Angie at the front of our store. In loving memory, 02/15/2007  Korey is the guy who helps handle and oversee the day-to-day customer relations, storefront management, advertising, and a lot of the work that's done behind the scenes. He keeps the loose ends tied up and helps to keep our business and, hence, our great service to you, running smoothly.

Esther, who has managed the store for many years, has so much knowledge and expertise to offer. In addition to managing the online version of the shoe store full-time, she also personally takes care of many of the online orders we receive.
